Another Chance to Dress

Tomorrow presents an oppertunity to dress for most of the day. It will require staying home from work, and or working from home. Part of me is excited and can’t stop thinking about waking up tomorrow, taking a shower, doing my makeup and getting dressed for the day in any outfit that I want. Just staying home for the day, doing some computer work making lunch, taking care of some laundry and odds and ends around the house. What will I wear? A Skirt and Heels hardly seems appropriate. Pants and a sweatshirt seem too much like what I would normally wear around the house. Here in lies my dilemma. Look for a photo post and note about the day.

I am Back

Sorry for the long silence. I have been very busy with life, work and winter fun. Things on the crossdressing front have shaken loose a little over the past few months. My wife and a I have had some great ground breaking conversations as of late. We have discussed going to a conference this year. I have been researching what is avalible. I was able to find some time to dress a couple of weeks ago and it felt great. Every time I dress, I am reminded how at peace and relaxed it makes me feel. I took several photos in different new outfits that I had purchased after christmas. I may get brave and post a photo soon. I often wonder if that peaceful relaxed feeling that I get while dressed would last if I dressed daily. I fear that it would fade as the stress of life came into play.

Ovservation

I touched on this somewhat in a prior post but I feel that a revisit is necessary. Observation of women, women of all ages has become one of the best ways for me to improve my look and presentation. As with so many things in life it boils down to the details. The right walk, how women stand and old their hands or their packages. When I was younger and experimenting with dressing, it was all about the big items, Skirts, Shoes, stockings and girdles. Oh don’t get me wrong. I still get that warm feeling inside when I zip up a well fitting skirt or slide my foot into my favorite heels. However the turning point in looking like a guy in a dress vs. having some fem. qualities is really in the small details. Women are around us every day. All we have to do is watch and learn.

I have been thinking about what kind of series I could start on this page. I think a discussion about observations and details is a good place to begin.

Crossdressing Everyday

Generally when thinking of crossdressing the first thought is dressing for the full presentation. Hair, makeup, traditional female gender specific clothing, Heels, breasts, the work. How many of us and how often do we get to indulge in that. For me it is just a few times per year and only for a few hours at a time. In fact in the 30 some years that I can safely say that I have been crossdressing, I don’t think I have ever spent an entire 24 hour period fully crossdressed. That is one of my top 5 things to accomplish with my crossdressing in the next year.

For me I have learned to crossdress a little each day. Some days more than others. First off I wear women’s sized shoes. I have a small foot and women’s shoes fit my foot better through the heel area. There are many styles of women’s running and hiking shoes that are gender neutral. Women’s jeans are another example of being able to crossdressing daily in male mode without drawing attention to the fact that you are wearing clothing sized and marketed towards women. T-shirts with the right neck line, jackets, and hats are all items that can be worn daily without anyone knowing otherwise.

Cycles

What makes us go through cycles? Lately I have been in a cycle of not wanting to think about crossdressing or anything transgendered, until today that is. I don’t know what switch was flipped today but I it was back in the front of my mind today. If I had the opportunity to wear anything I wanted today I would have dressed today, left the house and gone to work enfem. If only life were so easy. Maybe it is the onset of cold weather, I always feel more inclined to crossdress in the fall and winter. Well if anyone out there is still reading, I would love to hear your thoughts on what triggers you to feel more inclined to crossdress or underdress.
